" Best place to get a pedicure and acrylic nails in Mechanicsville! I've been on a search for a good nail salon and I have tried some salons from Williamsburg, Gloucester, Henrico (short pump area) and of course Mechanicsville. In my opinion, I had a wonderful experience at Rubys and you should definitely try it.
I got the Volcanic Pedicure which was the top tier and it was amazing, and they actually provided a massage. I've had the hardest time trying to find a good salon that provides a really good massage when getting a pedicure. Emma was absolutely amazing and so sweet! I highly recommend her for pedicures or nails.
I had my acrylic nails done at another salon and I needed to get a fill... I was shocked when I saw the difference in quality that Rubys had compared to the other salon I went to. Ester did my fill and she was so nice and made sure I was extremely happy. I'm definitely someone who is extremely picky with my nails and she did a wonderful job filling, and shaping them.
Overall, the salon was very clean, big, spacious so you weren't right on top of someone else. The pedicure areas were fabulous and everyone was so friendly. I'll definitely pay the extra money for wonderful service and wonderful nails. Again, Emma and Ester are wonderful! Being a first time customer, they made me feel so comfortable and welcome. I can't wait to go back!

Cleanliness
Very clean and it definitely did NOT have an ick factor at all! I loved it and was so relieved knowing it was clean. I'm very OCD when it comes to cleanliness and this is a huge reason I will be going back!"
